GCPD: Commissioner Gordon's Office While somewhat small the office is a quiet spot in the GCPD which can usually be a jungle just like the city itself. Against one wall is a small file cabinet, and a coatrack. The other has a small sofa which looks used, yet comfortable. The commissioner's desk occupies most of the space, upon it usually rest a few files and other work items. There is also a wedding picture, and a photo of Gordon and his daughter. There is only one window present, and it looks out to the city below. Contents: Batman Obvious exits: Window Out Gordon sits at his desk filling out paperwork, and going through various files and folders. "We were right, Jim." One of the Joker's flyers lands on the desk. Gordon blinks a few times at the voice, then looks at the flyer "Hrm..... yes I've already received my complimentarly copy of this... this bable" He glances up at you slightly "And being right isn't always a good thing... this isn't exactly a tell all book" Batman steps forwards, nodding stiffly. "You're right. This is much worse." He points to the flyer. "This is the only clue worth mentioning at the Harshlee site, Commissioner. The piles of red herrings the Joker left behind are simply his way of mocking us." Gordon hms and gives a slow nod "This still doesn't make sence however... if he wants to protect the children, why poison candy?" Batman says "...to prevent them from eating any, Jim. Cavities." Gordon smirks ever so slightly "How quaint, I'm sure millions of dentists are overjoyed." He removes his glasses, and cleans them off. "TV is bad he cancels it, movies same thing. All to get children to do something else like read... Which means his next target should be relatively obvious." Batman tilts his head, indicating his admission that it doesn't seem quite obvious to him yet. "...Television...Movies...Candy...?" Gordon points towards the corner of his office, a fairly old looking computer rests there covered with dust. "While personally I get annoyed every time I'm forced to use it they still made me put one in here. But they seem to be a blast with the kids. 'Course this is but one option he may choose to take." Batman rests a hand on the dusty terminal, scowling. "Of course. And with the internet and the controversy over censorship...its a natural." Gordon puts his glasses back on and nods "Unfortunately computers and software are such a broad area that even if the Joker did decide to strike there tracking him would be extremely difficult if not impossible." Batman taps on the terminal's top absently, looking somewhat contemplative. "Perhaps not...perhaps not." He looks back over at you. "I think an associate of mine could be of particular use in case we're right." Gordon straightens out some papers on his desk "Well I hope they are good. The department's resources are spread so thin right now I'll be surprised if we can do much of anything even with the Fed help. If your friend is willing then I won't stand in the way." Batman paces over to the desk again. "We're all spread thin right now, Jim." Gordon stares at the flyer for a few minutes and nods "But this doesn't mean he's going to get away from us this time. We're close on this one." Batman says "I can feel it too...I just want to be sure we're close enough to ensure his capture when we do make a move." Gordon nods "Yes. We cannot afford to miss him this time." Batman says "...I'm going to be watching the CBD and Uptown right now. If he follows this pattern, and he doesn't go after the Internet, we should expect a major Gotham based business to be the next target." Batman opens the door and leaves the office. Batman has left. Gordon nods as the Batman leaves "And so we wait.. again."
