Batman taps a few keys as he stands in front of the Batcave's main terminal, calling up a chat request with Oracle. He reaches up, and removes his cowl. Its evident that he's been out 'working' for a few hours from the disarray of his hair and the rings a round his eyes. Batman runs a finger across the bridge of his nose, and works on another monitor as he waits for a response from Oracle. >From the Delphi Link: Oracle's image pops up on the screen. She's leaning back in her chair and checking a readout on another monitor out of view of the camera. "Was wondering when you'd call..." she says her face still turned away. Batman nods, tersely. "Well, you got my E-mail?" >From the Delphi Link: Oracle turns towards the monitor and nods. "Been working on things since then. I should have some information for you shortly." >From the Delphi Link: Oracle yawns, and tries to quickly cover it, "One thing I can say...." she reaches over to tap on the keyboard and brings up some data, "About the explosives..." Batman watches your expression, giving a brief grunt of confirmation. He calls up his own lab reports about the explosives. "Any connections?" >From the Delphi Link: Oracle shakes her head, "Nothing clearcut. It could have been some of the stuff stolen, but there was a great deal more used for this. Way to much for it to have been from that shipment alone. As I'm sure you can see.. Very carefully built and placed." You say "Right. Its in a formation not unlike the way they train the Army Corps of Engineers to rig bridges and bring down communication towers. I'll see if I can drag any convicts with that sort of experience who have escaped or are out on the streets... " >From the Delphi Link: Oracle nods, "Makes sense. Other than the things you mailed last night.. What else should I be looking into now?" >From the Delphi Link: Oracle's brows pull down into a mild frown, as she starts to tap a pen on the edge of the desk, while she thinks. Batman taps a finger against his forehead, thinking. "I'd review news articles regarding the Christian Coalition or other groups with anti-media sentiments. See if there's been much in the way of protests or rallies by them in Gotham, or...any are planned in the near future." He frowns and adds. "...its probably a dead end, but I want to know just what set off this particular...idea." >From the Delphi Link: Oracle shakes her head and snorts softly, "Anti-media in this day and age... thats just. Arcahic" Batman gives a very thin, humorless smile. "Maybe so. Did you get those satellite photos?" >From the Delphi Link: Oracle nods, "Some of them are no good, I think what ever hit the TV stations wiped out some of these two." a sly grin comes over her face, "But... seeing as I always have more than once source. I should have a good set to send over to you in a couple hours. How far out to you want them? Just centered on the Stations, or a broad one of Gotham? Anything special I should print specterum wise? Or just flat photos?" Batman thinks. "Get me a thermographic and a spectrographic one, as well as basic color, centered on the stations. I think if we can pinpoint the timing of the explosions and their placement, we should have something. " >From the Delphi Link: Oracle nods, "I should be able to get those from NASA's database. With luck, with timestamps..." she pauses and mmmms, "Wonder if there is a Shuttle in Orbit now or not, I know those are always taking shots." Batman eyes a scrolling list on the monitor as he speaks. "...nothing on demolitions experts worth following up yet..." He glances over. "Yes, good idea." Batman picks up a small microscope slide from a workbench nearby, and holds it up to the light. "What about the tape? Anything unusual?" >From the Delphi Link: Oracle shakes her head, "My guess.. he didn't waste any money on this... Hold on." she turns her chair towards the left, and calls up something quickly. She smirks faintly, "How sweet of him. He made sure it was close captioned for the hearing impared" she says in a very sarcastic tone. "15.2 seconds long... Wasn't a handheld camera though." Batman places the slide under a computer-linked miscoscope, and adjusts the focus on a third terminal. "Any luck with background sound?" He frowns at the view of the slide, crossing his arms over his chest. >From the Delphi Link: Oracle shakes her head, "Nothing yet, still working on that. Right now, could have been in any room, in anyplace in any city." Batman nods, turning off the other terminal, and taking a seat. He leans his elbows on the countertop. "...I'm going to look into the Cataglia family 'holdings' tonight, so I might be on the move when next we talk." He taps a few keys, entering a log file about the day's events. >From the Delphi Link: Oracle nods, "Okay. Unless something vital pops up, that you need to know about ASAP, I'll wait for you next call. Soon as these images are ready, I'll download them to the Batcave..." Batman eyes a line he's just typed, pausing for a moment of silent contemplation. His expression grows a few shades darker. Whatever he's thinking of is not pleasant. >From the Delphi Link: Oracle turns back to the screen, "Something new?" she inquires catching the tail end of your expression. Batman mutters "Read a book....read a book..." He starts typing furiously, and looks up at the monitor with a cold light in his eyes. He mouths something to himself as he reads the screen. He clenches his teeth. "I learned a long time ago to not believe in coincidences when dealing with this kind of case...Check my files on the Cataglia's main rackets...the businesses they usually hit up for cash." >From the Delphi Link: Oracle nods, "One second..." she shifts back to the middle of the desk and starts typing quickly. "Oh my" she says with a faint upwards quirk of her lips, "Hooray for Hollywood?" Batman nods, grimly. "The Cataglia's have just been turning up the heat on their movie house rackets...while everyone else is scared to even trade dirty bills. They know something's up with their interests." >From the Delphi Link: Oracle nods once, "They have to have known something was up... If there is nothing on television, what do most American's do?" You say "...catch a movie." Batman grimaces, and places a hand against his forehead, an image replaying itself in slow motion in his mind's eye. He mutters "...I'm going out. Now." He stands, and reaches back for his cowl. >From the Delphi Link: Oracle nods, "Watch your back... We all know how twisted he is..." Batman dips his head in slight assent, the cowl taut over his features again. "I'll be in touch." He turns, turning off the connection with a quick flip of a switch. He paces solemnly back to the Batmobile.
