Los Angeles by Night: The PCs

Brandon Reinhardt

"Reinhardt? Sure, I know him. A good guy, can hustle up cash or contacts or whatever you need. I pass him a couple things now and then, and he never fails to come through, as far as I know. New guy, I think. Within the last few years. I'll tell him you were asking." ---Kirk, Brujah
A retouched Ralph Fiennes as Brandon Reinhardt

JASON'S COMMENT ON THE CHARACTER: Reinhardt has an interesting background that can be accessed below. His greatest strength is probably a combination of his easy recognition factor and his ability to satisfy his contacts. (Something that is certainly aided by the rest of the coterie.) He's gotten involved in a lot of things, some of which may backfire on him, some of which seem likely to get him big gains. A lot of goals on that character, which I like.

Roberta Ianini

[Picture of Roberta Ianini]CLAN: City Gangrel
"LA WEEKLY TIMES PICK: Best Place To Get Stuff Fixed: Bobbie's Repair Shop, south Watts. Though it's not in the best part of town, and we've never actually seen 'Bobbie', Bobbie's Repair Shop does a great job for a low price. It's worth the trip, but don't be fooled by the sign on the door saying 'Open Late': this is not a neighborhood you want to be in after dark." ---"Best of LA" issue, 1990

Elaine Miles as Roberta Ianini

JASON'S COMMENT ON THE CHARACTER: Her Speech Impediment, a 1-point flaw, kept her from some of the social action in the first instalment of the game. Her greatest strength is her skills: truly exceptional. She also has a 2-point Mentor, Danielle Brown, an ally of the Council of Five. As the game has progressed, she's been somewhat at odds with Allister (not on the page yet), but, though shy, very impulsive in terms of going out and doing stuff (which is good for me, as a GM.) Allisyn is generally ready to play along with that kind of thing...

Allisyn McDermott

"No, we never caught the perp. Maybe someday she'll turn up, but jeez, she must be pushing fifty by now." ---Eddie Davis, Hartford Police Department
Phoebe Cates as Allisyn McDermott

JASON'S COMMENT ON THE CHARACTER: She managed to restrain herself from lifting anything from MOCA in the first episode by convincing herself that a museum wasn't a person and therefore couldn't be conned. However, it's only a matter of time. Her greatest strength is her blithe attitude towards life. Her lies are much more easy to swallow since she delivers them with such sincerity. As the game has progressed, she's (as predicted) started hustling as many suckers as she can find, which has brought her to the attention of several groups she might not like to be paid attention by.
