CHARACTER REQUIREMENTS
- No childlings. Very young wilders are allowed. The line between
wilders and childlings is basically the line between being a "teenager"
and being a "child". Some people become wilders very young (12-13). Some
much later. And some don't stop being teenagers and start being "adults"
(grumps) until they're 24-25.
- Seelie and Unseelie are both allowed, but the characters, as part of
an oathcircle, must have been able to get along at some point in the past.
- Everyone must spend two points of Backgrounds on a communal Holding.
This freehold, the Crossroads, will be detailed by me. It is extremely
strong, able to produce 4 points of Glamour a night, and has other
significant advantages. The characters have sworn an oath as a Household
to protect and administer the Crossroads. One character must take a
Resources of 2, to reflect the ownership of the Crossroads Hotel. No
character need take a Title - if no character does, this reflects that the
Crossroads is a commoner hold only under the desmene of the Duke. The
maximum Title that anyone can take is 3.
- At least half of the characters must be established Changelings who
have undergone both Chrysalis and Saining. Un-Sained characters have to
have a player-character mentor. (Any character may of course have the
Mentor background, which will be a helpful NPC as usual.)
- At least one character must be old enough to drive, vote and drink
legally. It will help you guys to have at least one grump in the group,
but that isn't required.
- The following Merits and Flaws are not allowed: Weirdness Magnet (it
doesn't exist in the setting), Nightmares, Unbondable (although Prodigal
vampires exist, there is no such thing as a blood bond), Hunted, Bard's
Tongue.
